Pure venom has an incredible variety of snake species as well crocodiles and monitors.

The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly and knowledgable.

Thank you so much to Jordan and Adam for making this one of the most memorable days for our daughter.

This is a must visit on the south coast.

Pure Venom is an interesting and enjoyable outing. The reptiles seem well kept, the staff is readily available and keen to share their knowledge. The engaged with the children, letting them handle the snakes, baby crocs and bunnies.

Awesome staff. Wide range of snakes. My daughter loved the place. The animals looked happy and well kept.

Looking forward to my next visit....

This visit was disappointing for a few reasons:
1 it’s expensive for what you get - R100 for a pensioner
2 the reflection on the glass makes it almost impossible to see some of the snakes, depending on where the sun is
3 not sure what it is with the creepy sounds coming from the sound system, irritating at best, annoying after a while
4 the place needs a bit of TLC
5 please remove the sign on the enclosures that have nothing in them

I enjoyed looking at the various snakes, in-spite of the above. There are some impressive creatures there. It would also be helpful to know if there are any demonstrations or tours available, including any possible feeding times. Very little help from the front desk

Great experience especially if you have little ones that’s don’t fear reptiles, would’ve loved to take a selfie with an anaconda but the guides weren’t available on the day :(

This place was overrated, however poorly kept in terms of the grounds.Few species of snakes. The restuarant/ store selling food was closed. The benches went dusty & filthy. We viewed wht they had in under 30 min at most.No value for money.Tourist will be disappointed. Owners need to at least provide proper guides for the few species they hv.

Wanted to visit the park but had no idea about entrance fees so i went online to their website to inquire about entrance fees. The prices indicated was R 50.00 per person for adults. Upon arriving at the park we found out that they charge R 120.00 per person, we found that it was totally overprices for what was on offer, not worth the visit at all.

The entrance fee is way too much. The snakes are well kept but the crocs have ponds of algae . We saw the place in 20 minutes. There are no clear walkway signs or maps. Guides would enhance the tour but non were in sight. The cafe was closed and the atmosphere un-inviting.

Our guests from France where eager to visit the snake park before leaving KZN, so we made this the last stop before they needed to catch the bus. On google business hours are 9am to 4 30pm on a sunday. We arrived at 3pm to a very unhelpful and unfriendly staff member. Whom basically chased us out of the park as she needed to catch the bus. Understand her frustration but would advise you update your business hours on the site as i am sure it causes loads of problems with the staff and clients.
