If you visit the Langebaan Lagoon area you will almost certainly land up at the Langebaan Beach. It is a very popular holiday area for good reason. It has so much to offer on the beach as well as a lot of entertainment options within walking distance. With so many eateries and leisure options right there, it is a perfect place to spend some time.

Langebaan beach front.
Beautiful turquoise waters and soft sandy beach.
Rocxi restaurant.
Vibrant energetic and cool music restaurant spot overlooking the beach and waves.
Friendly service by Lily.
We had a delicious Cappuccino and berries waffle and chocolate fondant served with Ice cream.
Comfortable seating and proper sanitization protocols in place.

Langebaan Beach is really spectacular. Lovely to take an early evening walk and watch the kite surfers out in the strong winds

Visiting Langebaan (and the Beaches) I was pleasantly surprised. I have not experienced 'freedom' like I did here in too many decades. The sun, the beach, the hiking (safely), relaxed living. I did not want to leave this small town....

Fantastic beach with firm clean sand. A haven for water sports enthusiasts. Plenty of eating and drinking spots as well as all levels of accommodation.

It was the first really hit day after winter at 36 degrees Celsius. We had driven in the late afternoon from Cape Town and were hot. The sight of this cool serene lagoon was a breathe of fresh air. Walked bare foot on this flat shore which I don’t normally do. Took in the peaceful surrounds and relaxed, ended the trip at a bar to refuel before heading back to Cape Town. Definite recommendation.

When the wind is calm, Langebaan lagoon offers one of the finest family beaches in South Africa. With a gentle slope into the calm waters, it is ideal for young children to enjoy their first experience of the sea. It is also perfect for boating, paddling, canoeing or fishing.
When the wind comes up, the lagoon and the beach is transformed into a colourful kaleidescope created by the myriad kites. Luckily, he kite boarding area is clearly demarcated and easy to avoid.
There are also a number of restaurants and shops within easy walking distance - something for everyone!

easy small boat launching, great kite surfing, kayaking you name it. The water is often a little warmer than the local ocean current but its always calm and clear so it really is a water sports destination par ecellence. Bets part is all the local beaches and public facilities are well maintained. Lots of local shopping and eating within walking distance
