Had the privilege of been invited for a tour the night before. We were in the Pizzeria Trastevere in Ponferrada and on the next table a gentleman spotted my Camino de Santiago tattoo arm which has the Losado crest proudly displayed.I have done the Camino 3 times now and El Bierzo is my favourite region. He invited us to look round the next day. A fascinating tour, I work in the pub business and have visited many breweries, so this as my first winery was real treat. Sampled the wines at the end but as mencia is a favourite grape I knew I would enjoy them all. Thank you Losada and I wear your badge now with pride.…
