Had an amazing experience, I was a bit afraid at first to do a night tour on the ocean especially one requiring small transportation mode but as soon as we hit the water all my fears were gone replaced by admiration, the night was perfectly lit by all the beautiful stars and constellations and when we got to the area were the bioluminescence tour was held I was awe struct, it was as beautiful as they say and breath taking as well.. Is a tour I highly recommend for those who love adventures and appreciate the value of nature.

Amazing sight to see! This is an experience that is pretty cool, but if you are staying on Seven Mile Beach- this is quite a trek from there. Wear a swimsuit too- I wore workout attire and was soaked from waist down without swimming in the water. Maybe it was breezier than normal, but the kayaking was quite a workout too. If you’re ready for an extensive adventure, this is it.

The Bioluminescent Electric Boat tour should be in your Grand Cayman Island plans. The captain delivered on everything described in the on-line write-up. The specially designed, environmentally friendly boat comfortably transports visitors to a bioluminescent haven. Particularly noteworthy was the care taken by the captain to help me enjoy the experience. I have an eye condition that impairs my night vision. First, he ensured I safely navigated all aspects of the boat. Second, when he realized I was not able to really see the bioluminescence in the water, he provided a bucket of water and told me to whack it very hard. And with that resulting flash, I could see the bright lights of the organisms! It meant so much to me that he wanted to be sure I took home a memory. Lastly, he entertained us with information, but also kept a quiet time while we sat still over the bioluminescence. It was a unique and beautiful experience.

Tom the owner along with his wife is a locally raised. His love of his island shows in his environmental savy! Protect and educate. We had our grand babies with us, so Tom’s newly designed boat was perfect for us!!!! Even the 2 year old could put his feet in the water and experience the light. Nana too! I have never seen anything so amazing! Really! Worth every penny! We relaxed on Rum Point as we waited for the time. Bathrooms and changing rooms available.

As a veterinarian and biologist, I didn’t expect the depth of information we received on this tour. The bioluminescent bay was absolutely stunning and our guide, Tom, provided us with an education as well as a fabulous adventure. It wasn’t strenuous but was relaxing, fun, informative and gave all of us a new appreciation for the wonder of the world around us. I only wish I could give this ten stars. It’s a “must” on any visit to the island.
