Partially cultivated forrest, this is a great place to walk the dog at any time of the year. Just outside Northampton, there are lots of tracks through the trees, in late November the leaves have mostly fallen, but it remains beautiful and you can easily...More

Visiting Northampton to meet family and cane across this place online. Lovely place to enjoy a sunny day with the dogs. Highly recommend a visit.

The forest is just on the outskirts of Northampton and a great place for an autumn walk with the dog. There are lots of different footpaths to follow, through mostly pine trees, but also some spectacularly colourful deciduous trees (visited in October). It's actually quite...More

Harlestone Firs is a lovely place to go for a country walk. The views are lovely and there is a good bit of ground to cover. Very relaxing and tranquil.

Great trails around this Althorp Estate owned woodland. Great for dog walkers and cyclists also. Most paths will be OK in winter.

Open access land which is glorious for bikers, walkers and dog walkers. You can devise walks from 1 to 12 miles. Main drag is pretty good underfoot so OK for winter walking in the correct footwear.
