All reviews highest point hairpin bends highest mountain small monastery albanian coast fantastic views mobile phone scary drive hired a car winding road gift shop limited parking corfu island well worth the trip greek mainland old village masts
Journey to the top of Corfu and be amazed by the views, across the island and to the mainland. Wander around the little monastery set in the shadow of masts and antennas. Enjoy a refreshment while you steady yourself for the journey back down.
A very scary, white knuckle drive! I am not going to give a poor review although personally I did not enjoy it. If you are okay with heights you will be fine otherwise avoid. Very cold, wet and windy on the day we visited so...More
The views from the top are amazing and really put the island into perspective. The small monastery is really beautiful and worth going in to see. There is the obligatory shop and cafe for refreshments too.
Hire a car and take the incredible drive up the windy roads to the summit of the mountain. The drive is challenging, so make sure you're an experienced driver as some of the points are very close to the edge and you may have to...More
Nice view point to look out from and grab a coffee/drink at the café whilst watching the world below, weather was not great and probably on a nicer day it would have been even better. It is a shame about the antenna and the location...More

you get to the top of the mountain through a twisty road, but once you get there man oh man, it is totally worth it. The view is one of a kind. Yes, maybe the nice view is disturbed a little by all the antennas,...More
The road up to this place is steep and narrow, but the end result is worth it. You can see all the way to Albania and Greece mainland. There are a lot of people up here with a small café serving both food, ice cream...More

Yes the main car route up the mountain continues to the north of the island but you won't get to the top of the mountain just in the car. I didn't hire a car so couldn't comment on the route on the north side of the mountain but on the south side (from ipsos) it is very windy. In the most part it is wide enough for 2 cars (just) so if you drive slow enough, I'm sure you'll be fine.
