small museum but very well presented well worth the time we spent there /the curator gave us a personal tour and answered all our questions the abbey tea rooms opposite is also worth a visit

A well-worthwhile diversion from Bedford, Elstow has some of the key characteristics of an English village, especially the Moot Hall, Green and tea room. Local history and Bunyan's significance are well explained by local guides / custodians. A bit expensive but worthwhile.
