Even my 1,5 year old walked boldly through this walk! His older brother, 4,5, liked it even more. Wonderful sites, old mills, old tiny chapels, streams going down, kids absolutely loved this - and they also loved ice cream in the small cafe that is...More

Small green gorge, 15 pounds by taxi from Rethimno and then you walk back into the town( or take the red bus). The walk is lovely and refreshing, small churches, ruins, and a creek. Good for an afternoon walk but not enough for a day...More

Having read the reviews and done the walk, I'd have to say I think the descriptions in the guidebooks and on TripAdvisor are over-stated. Many reviews on tourist sites - in my opinion - give quite a misleading picture of the walk, describing the gorge...More

Amazing place, just 10 minutes by car from the center of the city of Rethymno. It's about an abandoned old village inside the gorge of "Myloi". Cool, full of small rivers, ponds and trees. Amenities like wooden tables and benches for a pic-nic are available....More

We walked part of the gorge, had a picnic and walked back as we have a child that wouldn't have walked all the way there and back. It's a beautiful place, free parking on the road and the red hop on an off tour bus...More

We took the red hop-on/off to the gorge. Easy access to a tranquil, green and lush walk along the small creek down at the gorge. Halfway is a small tavern. In April the climate is nice, not to warm, the tavern only serve some coffee...More

We stopped off from the City bus tour to walk down through here. A very pleasant, peaceful couple of hours and a quirky taverna at the bottom. Get prepared beforehand with sensible footwear, water etc and maybe a little research, so that you know what...More

We took the Rethymno hop on/hop off bus to the Gorge of Mili stop, which is right by one of the two entrances to the south of the Gorge (entrance 2 on the map). Take the steps down and then follow the path round into...More

We went first to the town of chromastiri(?) and from there took the 'old path' and walked down towards the gorge and got in already at the first entry (we were told most to the second). It was very pretty and also a good change...More

There is a tourist bus that goes from Rethymnon up the gorge to a military museum & there are at least 2 stops for people to go into the gorge. The leaflet for the bus service is available all over the town.
