Amazing free day out for all the family. Children love the playground, walking the dog around the lake and in warm weather the splash park. Well done Bassetlaw Council x

The lake may be a little polluted from the old coal mining industry but it is attractive on the eye. There are some pleasant walks around the lake and nearby woodlands as well as a children's play area. I used it as a start for...More

Lovey water splash park and park for children. It's quite a long walk around which is great not you like walking. Plenty of places to get lost.

Over the years Langold Lake (as we always called it locally) became very run down and vandalized. Recent investment has seen it cleaned up nicely and good wet and dry kids play areas installed. Would still love to see lake swimming return, but maybe that's...More

What a wonderful FREE day out. Fantastic waterpark, lovely cheap cafe. Great walk around the lake. Would have happily paid a couple of pounds for parking to help with the up keep of the lake. Definitely worth taking a picnic and enjoying family time.
