Villiera is a family run winery situated in the Stellenbosch region, producing a range of still wine and recognised as one of South Africa’s leading Methode Cap Classique producers. It is a pioneering, innovative, quality wine company committed to preserving the environment. Villiera is also committed to education and upliftment of their staff and their families. Villiera is home to the Villiera Wildlife Sanctuary (220 Ha). During a conducted wildlife drive visitors will be shown sustainability at work: the Solar Powered cellar, the Owethu clinic, The Pebbles Project, the Early Childhood development centre, the Tree Planting project (over 100,000 indigenous trees planted to date – part of an on-going greening project), the vineyards, the Wildlife Sanctuary and most importantly the range of Villiera wines. Visitors can also taste our range of Domaine Grier wines from France.

Spent a pleasant & informative afternoon at Villiera. We did not sample many wines as we had just done another wine tasting and had has lunch. However we found those that we did very good and didn't leave empty handed. We tried some white wines...More

Spent a happy hour of two here sampling some delicious sparkling wine and the best dessert wine I have ever tasted! Will be revisiting in November for sure.

We visited this winery during a tour. Tasted some excellent MCC here although my favorite tasted product was the fortified "Fired Earth" red dessert wine. Paired fantastic with the biltong served. I like the environmental and social responsibility this winery takes towards its surroundings.
