We had a lovely visit to Katherine and Joe at the Spice house. They generously stayed open well beyond their opentime and we enjoyed drinks and wonderful views from their terrace, health-giving snacks and VERY informative discussion on the benefits of many different foods. We look forward to trying out turmeric and ginger. Thankyou!!

As it was near our hotel we stopped in even though the sign said closed. We were made welcome and could understand/envy how an expat couple created a unique magical world of their own.

I visited the Spice House with friends and relatives on holiday. The hospitality shown by Catherine and Joe was generous to say the least and the products... well I certainly made a few purchases!! If you are interested in herbs and spices, stimulating and informative conversation and an incredibly relaxed atmosphere, this is a must to add to any itinerary, let alone one in Cyprus. Well worth a visit.

Oh My what a wonderful place this is. Catherine and Jo are clearly passionate about the herbs and spices they mix and cook with. They are very knowledgable and very interesting giving you information about the mixes and what the specific herbs and spices can do of your health as well as being the perfect host and hostess. The food was just lovely and all fresh and home made along with flavoured ice teas, water Fusions and of course wine and beer. You can also buy the herbs and spices from their little shop and there are free recipe cards for you to take home. This is a real treasure and well worth a visit.

We visited the shop today for the first time, and we were made extremely welcome. We were there for two hours !! but the time flew by as we tasted various samples of the superb range on offer. Highly recommend a visit.

A delightful setting for a quality, healthy lunch. Catherine made us very welcome. She served the most amazing tasty lunch of dips and salads and desserts, and chatted to us very knowledgeably about spices and their benefits. She was so accommodating and considerate of my dietary needs. We will certainly be coming back. Thank you Catherine and Jo.

Wonderful experience, my first visit, and I was very impressed, we were there for two and a half hours. There were lots of little tasters and a well informed talk on the benefits of healthy eating. Full marks all round.

I visited this gem of a place when recently staying with my parents. Situated on a hill with breathtaking views, we were warmly welcomed into their house which had all the healthy organic goods beautifully displayed, including seeds, spices and aromatherapy items. There were no limits to the hosts hospitality! We were offered drinks and then invited to sample lots of Mezze style dishes which included the spices and seed mixes available. There was hummus, guacamole and the Tarka Dal was to die for!! I would thoroughly recommend the Omega seeds which has now become a staple part of my diet!
A true and rare find in a rural spot which is definitely worth a visit for anybody who is interested in a healthy organic lifestyle and for those who would just like to sample something refreshingly unique.

Today we enjoyed Catherine’s and Joe’s hospitality at the biweekly open house event at the Spice House. In addition to sampling a selection of their excellent products there were invited artisans displaying their produce. For example a variety of gluten free bread and cakes - delicious- and unique jewellery. I was impressed by the number of visitors to the open house. The atmosphere was convivial and in addition to sampling the “goods” the event was a social success. For those interested in experiencing the health benefits of many herbs and spices, a visit to the Spice House should be right up their on your to do list when in Cyprus.
