This is a small area but worthseeing. U can visit it at any time. Located next to the ferryboat station. It is the first step to understand Gallipoli Campaign. There are busts of turkish commaders and trenches with old rusty materials

While in the hotel having our lunch, enjoyed watching many statues in the garden near to the harbour. Ataturk statue is the main one.

We arrived here later one evening to take the ferry over to Canakkale. While we were queued, we saw the memorial to our right and decided to go over and have a look. Its a scene cut into the ground showing trench warfare during WW1....More
