This is one of the most beautiful buildings we have ever seen. Our only suggestion is to make this the last stop when visiting Curtea de Arges, since everything else pales by comparison.

Maintained by the Romanian royal family, it's really pretty. Worth visiting. A bit different in design compared to other cathedrals and churches. We liked it.

Beautiful architecture, paintings of icons inside. Romanians are quite religious so you will see Romanian visitors making multiple signs of the cross and kiss the relics in the temple, be mindful of them.

Not sure what else to say this place is simply stunning. Well worth stopping to visit. There's actually a couple of churches to view, neither take too long but definitely worthwhile seeing.

We stopped here on our trip to Transfăgărășan road. It's an impressive building with an interesting history. Doesn't take long to visit it. Worth doing while in the area

The building has lots of different styles and is not the average monastery. The area is part of the park of the city and its very nice to walk around.

It is imperative to see if you are near. The monastery's construction is related to the legend of Master Manol. Below the urban garden is the master's tap where he is supposed to have fallen and died. Architecturally, it is very impressive, there are quite...More
