Great views from the dam and the viewing platform nearby (no charge for viewing platform). Impressive structure!! My one complaint is where the stalls are selling food and souvenirs there is a lot of rubbish on the ground and very few bins!!

the Vidraru Dam is an huge artificial lake , surrounded by woods and rocks , very imposing , according to the many cars who were parking along the bridge it was easy to understand that it is a must seightseeing

This dam is on the most amaizing road in Romania. The road is used by motor-bikers all over the Europe. You should see it!

The lake is a spectacular view and so are the multitude of sparrows (I think) that have nests there.

Nice view (a little scary :D), interesting area. But keep in mind that there are little parking spaces and most people park in the middle of the road.

Incredible place! The lake is beautiful, the statues around the dam are so cool and the climb upstairs offers views of the whole area. Really cool!
