Nice place to stop when you are passing. Not realy worth a long detour. Count 15min for the visit. Make sure to get to the bridge on the Via del Brennero, here you can park your car. Tricky to park at the other side !!!

This is one of the bridges one sees ona postcard and wonders where it is. Well it is near Borgo a Mozzano in Tuscany. One can walk over it from one side of the Serchio River to the other side. The bridge is 14th century...More

Built around 1100AD this was an important river crossing on the pilgrimage route from France to Rome. Now traffic free it is worth a few photos from the nearby carpark on the roadside about 10 miles N of Lucca.

Bridge is quite unique, but the view from it is breath taking. One of my favourite spots in Italy! <3

All the guide books mention the bridge, although whether it was a dog or pig that crossed first seems to be in dispute! There is some free parking right next to it, although I imagine it would fill quickly in high season and there isn’t...More

You can pull up at the side of the road just before this bridge as there are parking spaces. The bridge and surroundings are stunning and make a great photo or backdrop for a photo. The bridge is quite steep to climb (I think one...More

Authentic sight to see and walk along without the tourist hectic rush. It is a pleasant time spend around. We did not pay any entry fee.

Definitely worth a stop, but I wouldn’t detour far just to see it. It’s a steep walk up to the top that I wouldn’t try in the wet.

Amazing bridge, we parked at one end. walked over, took some photos, walked back. Amazing to stand on that structure and take in the skill with which it was built. No real facts behind who built it but the legend is a fun story. Well...More
