The falls are very beautiful and impressive. The climb is quite hard (especially the last part to the upper waterfall), but the paths are level and well maintained. We had to pay 5euros for parking and then pass at least 3 souvenir stalls to get...More

You park at one of the parking lots at he bottom and from there you can take a taxi to the middle station.
From the middle station down even without kids it is at...More
A good thundering waterfall which is worth a view if you are unlikely to visit the worlds biggest .Its a must to travel on the narrow gauge railway and catch a bus from the station to the falls which can be included in the ticket...More
The falls were the whole reason for visiting the area and we were not disappointed. They are so big and high broken up at various levels. It is about 15mins walk from the village and then it is a pretty decent climb up to the...More

Taxi cost 80euros for 4 people it is private operated cars they will take u up and once finished you have to call them they will bring you back, if you like trekking you will enjoy but bit tedious, I reached krimml around 9 am and came down by 4pm, take sufficient water and proper shoes,we parked our car went walking up 2 hrs and came down then headed to Innsbruck reached by 5 PM.
My advice is finish Salzburg start morning put up in Hallstatt if u have time spend a day in Hallstatt next day morning krimml then Innsbruck . When you drive from krimml to Innsbruck try some food in local restaurant.buzz me I can give my itinerary which may help you to plan your trip.
Enjoy your trip
