The usual "duty" for the Soviet era monument to the most famous resident of Klin. One monument, which is located on the territory of the memorial house-museum of the composer in about a kilometer from the town center, it seemed to the local authorities not sufficient, and they installed this one. The place is ridiculous. Shopping arcade, near the dilapidated Trinity Cathedral, on the side of it another church, also not restored, square, on which gather local drunkards. But the rede is simple. Trinity Cathedral was turned by the Bolsheviks into the House of culture, on it is now visible this inscription. And Tchaikovsky, according to the initiators of the installation of the new monument, is as cultured as possible to show off here.
