Had the good fortune to have a friend recommend visiting the Vannulo buffalo farm, which I did. Amazing to see cows enter milking stations voluntarily, not to mention getting massaged by machines!! The place pipes in classical music to help milk production. And they even...More

Fun visit to see the pampered buffalo. Loved the buffalo washer. Finished visit off with a dessert fest - great yoghurt, delicious brioche with gelato and a fab cherry and custard tart - basically recommend you try and eat your way through the dessert menu!

Totally unusual. Contented buffalos coming to be stroked. Automatic milking. Excellent guide. Get there early. The trips finish at 11:30am as all the milk has been processed by then into ice cream or mozarella.
