We were a bit apprehensive about going skiing in March. Luckily, there was plenty of snow, though the temperatures were above zero most of the week and the lower slopes were a bit slushy. Hauser-Kaibling is a large ski area, so we have a lot...More

Nice ski area, not as busy as neighbouring Schladming and easy to ski over there for even more choice and some night-life. The skiing is slightly easier than Schladming. Mainly red slopes (nice, wide pistes), a few blues but not for beginners, the odd black...More

Why is smoking still allowed inside bars and restaurants when the rest of Europe has banned it? What a shame otherwise it would be a perfect family ski destination.

Very good skiing here with long runs and plenty of trees for variety. Lifts are modern and efficient. A few Leitners have warmed seats. It is one of four mountains in the system but keep in mind that slopes are steeper than average, particularly the...More

One of my favourite resorts. Great skiing and great lifts. Part of the Dachstein / Schladming ski circus with about 70 interconnected lifts over four adjoining mountains. You can ski your legs off here.

Here you find the best slopes of the schladming 4 mountain ski resort. Many comfortable and fast chairlifts and only one telecabin. At every slope there are various huts for taking a rest.
