We were away with our Labrador so needed dog friendly places to go. The gardens were lovely to walk around, the cafe dog friendly too. Dogs aren’t allowed in the Hall but that didn’t matter. We were there a little over an hour.

The trip was organized as part of a holiday with Glos Organic Gardeners. I loved the skilful mix of contemporary planting with a traditional garden. The modern knot garden was an exciting blend of colours and textures and I am determined to copy some of...More

Fabulous visit. Beautiful garden and lovely cafe. Highly recommended. Came really because my husband’s Mum was a trainee teacher here in the 60’s. What a lovely place it must have been to study.

We managed to get a day off work mid-week to visit the gardens on a sunny day. Wonderful place, very well kept gardens (puts National Trust to shame!) Very peaceful - saw only one young child there all day - and relaxing. Very nice cafe,...More

An exceptional wedding venue, quite outstanding with fantastic facilities. It even has a private night club. The privacy and extensive grounds make a special location for such an event.

Beautiful gardens, tea room and excellent plant sales. Only open Wednesday and Thursday so careful travel planning needs to be considered. Wonderful planting and gentle walk around the garden . Definitely recommend a visit.
