Small but full of interesting things from the area. The curator was friendly and knows the area well.
Definitely worth visiting.

Wonderful characteristic old museum which depicts the town's history in detail. Nice place to spend a raining or cold afternoon

It was only the story and artefacts of white people, little or nothing of earlier inhabitants. San or Khoekoen (?). Also there was little in English. I do wonder/ assume that the dependency on Afrikaans is linked to the above. It could be worth getting a professional curator to sort out and make better sense of the history.

This littel gem is run by a passionate curator, who has an enormous knowledge about the people and their history. She keeps researching further into the complicated families of the environment. Every little piece in this museum is found and preserved with love and excitement. What a beautiful experience!
