So much interesting stuff in an old workhouse giving a great insight into life in Nidderdale. And at £1 for a concessionary admission it has to be the best value £1 spent in Britain. A must if you are in Pateley Bridge.

This little museum is a hidden gem and worth seeking out. It's quirky, full of interest and the volunteer staff are just the nicest couple we have met.

A really great museum, with an amazing amount of information in a relatively small space. The Polyphon was very interesting and the very helpful staff were very knowledgeable and took the time to show me how it worked, as well as demonstrating it. The local...More
