Went here when staying in Aguilas recently. A beautiful unspoilt area with natural beauty. No cafes nearby but still worth a look.

Beautiful place, left wild and as nature intended. Clean water and environment. Lots of notices / signs asking visitors to keep off the flora and fauna, most respect this, but not all.

take a look at the hermita with semi-pagan images of saints and Mary, near the tower; you can't go inside the tower, but we were fortunate enough to see a film inside Aguilas museum

We visited here at the end of may the weather was delightful. There is no beach to speak of just a rocky bay but you could easily set picnic chairs on some of the flat ateas or find some rocks that seem to have formed little seats. Its beauty in the raw and stunning. A very calming place to be, we could have stayed there for hours n hours. We found cuttlefish bones and natiral sponges washed up with the tide which was great to see although not a good place for children we feel. We didnt see (notice) any cafes or bars as we only went to investigate the views. So if you love nature and listening to the sea crashing up against the rocks and feel the spray of the sea on your face then its well worth a visit we loved it and would love to return and stay longer…
