Due to heavy rain our walk around the outside exhibition was somewhat perfunctory but it looked very pretty. The best part was the extensive tasting. Particularly good were the dry pear cider and the pommeaux (fortified apple juice - bit like sherry)

A small, award winning (165 +) Calvados distillery. The tour explains the whole process from the conservatory orchards (no pesticides, chemicals) through the aging rooms and tasting. Free.

Great visit for the devotees of this iconic beverage. In the tour you learn every bit of the manufacturing process of Calvados, can check the taste of different varieties, stroll along the apple orchard and more over, buy some excellent Calvados.
