We had spare time in Ararat so went to see this petrified Noah's Ark. Not particularly believable, but the view of the landscape was nice.

High on a hillslope there is a tiny museum alongside what appears to be the outline of a boat. The museum has a collection of articles and fossils to demonstrate evidence of Noah's Ark. If you have a good imagination you are likely to believe...More

Make sure to use a bit of your imagination and... there you go: Noah's Ark is just in front of you. The museum is disappointing, however local guide will show you nice places around allowing you to take nice pictures.

We looked for the ark with the instructions from other reviews but apparently since another ark was found in Iran, this one closed? We could not find it anyway.

never recommend you to visit here as there's no ark at all that you can see or touch but a geographical shape looking like a big vessel. the story that the museum curator has been claiming is nonsense and made up
