Small picturesque Tuscany town on a hill. Perfect panoramas around. Poor parking space. Somewhere else to be a No. 1 tourist attraction. In Tuscany - one of hundred. But anyway, worth to see.

San miniato is small but perfectly formed. We stayed there for 1 night . It is on the Via Francigena. it is an ancient hill town so there are lovely views over the Tuscan countryside from the edge of town

The center is small, but the main Plaza is beautiful and really worth a visit. The fresco decor on the buidlings are very well maintained.

We walked through this historic city and enjoyed the quiet after spending 4 days in heavily touristed florence. Very quaint city centre with many sites.
