Very lovely view. On a sunny day you can see the town and the surroundings. A steep climb (stairs) but doable, also with kids. The best light for taking photos is in the late afternoon. On a hot day, visit the Rocca in the evening.

There are some steps to Climb to get up - but it's a must if you're in this small town. The view is great - you can see quite far on a Clear day.

It was 34° when we arrived at the parking, fortunately there is a lift which takes you up to the lower part of the village. Getting up to the tower is easy, there are a few stars to climb but unfortunately at the base of...More

San Miniato is a nice small town on the top of the hill. A small walk to the top of the tower is worth the view. This tower is part of a serie of towers. At each hilltop you had one of those towers. They...More

Worth the climb for a great 360 view of San Miniato & surrounding areas. Still a good view at the bottom of the tower for those not wanting to make the climb. Sturdy stairs in the tower - well maintained.

I wouldn't go out of my way for it, but if you're in San Miniato, it's worth a view up to the top if only for the view. The tower itself was bombed and then rebuilt. It takes something away from the tower. There are...More

San Miniato was like 10 minutes drive from our apartment so we went to see some stuff. When we got there, there wasn't any tourist or something like that. Streets were empty, but it was still beautiful. We walked for 30 minutes to the top,...More
