Although not a "must see" tourist attraction, you can visit if you have time, or if you are a fanatic museum visitor. Contains, both archeological and ethnografic items and recently added pieces from the excavations of Giresun Island (Aretias)...

It's not worth it to come here unless you are passing by They charge TL5 Inside this old church they kept some old items from the city in the old time of Ottoman and before

In a disused 19th C church, this museum has some interesting things - a very good mini numismatics collection (going from classical to modern), as well as some rather poignant Greek language gravestones from the 19th and early 20th centuries.

This 18th century Orthodox Greek church has been transformed to the archaeological museum displaying an impressive collection of Ottoman artifacts. We completed the tour in about an hour. It is close to the Giresun Castle.
