Early Morning Balloon Safari with Breakfast from Magaliesburg

340 reviews
Enhance your visit to the Cradle of Humankind with an early morning balloon ride over this ancient and beautiful landscape. Sip coffee as experienced crew inflate the balloons, then ascend into the sky as your veteran pilot explains the views beneath you. Enjoy a glass of bubbles on landing followed by a full English breakfast at the launch site and leave with a “citation” commemorating your flight.

An incredible experience with so much to see and do. The farm produce is excellent, and there are a good few restaurants with good food options available.

I visited Jasmyn Crafters market with my two teenage daughters before Christmas and I was so pleasantly surprised by the quality of the stalls and the merchandise on offer. I particularly appreciated the second hand book stall, the brilliant art works that is done on stretched leather and the stall that sells knife making kits! This market is adjacent to a very well stocked fresh food market that would satisfy any foodie and there are two restaurants to choose from. Well worth a visit, especially if you are tired of the same-old, same-old Chinese junk on sale at most flea markets.

Lovely, homely atmosphere with good, friendly service and good food. Had the hake and prawn combo, burgers and toasted sandwiches. Did not wait long for food to be served. Then walked through huge bookstore and farm market, really a nice outing with the family.
