This was a magnificent display right from the beginning. The whole story of the Highlands unfolded before you, together with the massed bands and the dancing. The complete programme was absolutely magic.

For those who have never been to this event you are missing a wee jewel.The bands the music and performance are worth the effort . So put a date in the diary for next year

We heard of the Highland Military Tattoo in Inverness just that day from another American tourist and decided to go at the last minute. Fortunately there were "cheap seat" tickets still available! You could tour throught the Fort and Military Museaum before the show and...More

Hi Debbie , I don’t think there is a tattoo in may they’re usually around September... as for a cruise ship port, Inverness is way up Scotland the water is the moray Firth , no port for cruise ships that I’m aware of.
