The above answers have it in a nutshell. Cross the bridge, shuttle to McCarthy, $5 dollars each way on the shuttle to Kennecott. You can purchase tickets on St. Elias Guides website. Times are 9:30,1:30,3:30. Shuttles depart McCarthy every half hour. Be sure to be early for your tour so you can check out a bit of Kennecott before the tour. Afternoon shuttles can be crowded, possible wait times. Staff at the shuttle stop are very friendly and helpful. Relax....Slow down and enjoy this step back in time.
