A journey through fascinating countryside in mini-carriages. It takes an hour each way. Dogs are made welcome. Small refreshment facilities at the end of the journey.

We had never been on this railway before but chose a fantastic day. The sun was shining and the weather was hot. We started our journey in Aylsham, where you could wander into the workshops for a look around. We chatted to the driver of...More

This was a great journey on a very different type of railway. Narrow gauge railway with carriages that you had to duck down to get into. We were pulled by a very smart steam train. Lovely journey on a dull afternoon. Carriages well looked after,...More

We boarded the train at Coltishall and went to Wroxham and went on the Broads on the Belle of the Broads. There were 27 of us and the Bure Vallley Railway put on additional coaches to ensure that we could all travel together. They had...More

I cannot comment on the cost of this one way trip as it was part of a package. The narrow gauge track has been placed on the trackbed of a branch lime closed in the 1960's. The miniature coaches are small but can seat four...More

At £24.00 one way for two adults and two bicycles, if it wasnt fot the long ride back to Aylesham we'd have given it a miss.

A charming little 45 minute trip to Wroxham. Well worth getting the boat trip ticket as well, making it nearly a full day out. It's only a short walk to the boat station and then you get 90 minutes on the Broads.
