All the people ask you for money and they said that a guide is necessary but is not. You can walk by yourself and you can visit a waterfall nearby.

All we knew about Dorze were elephant-like-houses. But what we found there were amazing people with a friendly smile, ready to show us their daily activities, the methods of preparing food, drink and their great textile. We wished we could stay more with them.

I had the opportunity to visit this village and see how the stem of a banana could be turned into bread. it was just marvelous. Community life here revolves around the banana tree. This is a must for all who visit the Arbah Minch area

We really enjoyed our visit to the Dorze village and learned so much from our guide, Masai. Unique bamboo and false banana leaf huts have no central beam but are partitioned off inside with woven mats. They keep animals inside for safety & additional warmth...More
