This is one of the four castles which couldn't be occupied by the Turks when they invaded Hungary. There is a very well organized exhibition about the history of it, and a lot of interesting artifacts. It is worth to visit.

The castle visit was quite interesting, particularly the short film about the history. There was a roundabout for children. I was impressed by being able to touch the weapons, I presume they were real, they certainly seemed sharp. You could also dress up. The herb...More

We visit the castle not a special place. Funny legends but they believe them like real history :) Anyway let’s see.

The inner court was fully equipped with a mobile stage. I skipped the exhibitions, only walked around the place. I liked the towers, the thick walls, the little herb garden with the shop.

Be it a kid or a never to grow up man, you will love the medival weapon collection, which you can actually try! (ok, most probably they are replicas, but still)
