Excellent example of Medieval Church in Sassari, you pay to enter the church which is worth the Euros, a magnificent mural on the alter and surrounding areas of this small church.

30 minute stop This is considered the best example of a Medieval Church in Sardinia. We were expecting a bit more. We spent about 30 minutes visiting the interior and the grounds. This is still a consecrated church, and masses are celebrated regularly: On Sundays...More

This is a wonderful ancient church built of colored stone to give a dramatic striped appearance. It is closed for all but one day of the year, so your visit will be brief. There is plenty of open parking around the church and large information...More

A mandatory stop to discover a little sard romanesque church. To visit the inside there’s a 3€ entrance fee. We were in a hurry so we only visited the outside.

Very beautifully restored church not far from Sassari. Information board very informative. An artists impression of the monastic community would be great. Well worth a visit.

This is a very bold and proud Romanesque church. It is easily accessed from the old Sassari road, or via the hills from Borutta. Once Inside, the tranquillity is apparent - The church is narrow and the high walls (striped with limestone and basalt masonry),...More

Located in the middle of nowhere this is a very photogenic church. Well worth a visit. There was a cafe located nearby which had closed, so do not expect any refreshments.

The church appears to ve almost in the middle of nowhere. Perfect proportions and amazing details on the facade. Just beautiful. Really worth the trip. Try to do it as part of a longer trip to other romanesque churches in the area (Logudoro).
