    Colourful
We had a hire car and we went to fiskardo. This little village is so pretty. Lots of beautifully coloured buildings with lots of flowers. Tavernas and shops along the harbour front. Lots of expensive boats. Well worth a visit

    Pretty north Kefalonia village
Fiskardo is Kefalonia's most northern town, better say village. It's set in a small secluded bay with calm sea. You will disembark at Fiskardo if travelling with a ferry from Lefkada. From the Kefalonia's capital of Argostoli it's an hour drive, convenient to visit with other attractions in north such as Myrtos beach, Dragostoli caves and Antisamos. Fiskardo is lined with picturesque colored houses around its harbor. Plenty of tavernas and small shops. It has a small beach right in the harbor, but better are to the left and to the right from town.

    Magical Fiscardo Harbour
Beautiful harbour, which is the main centre of activity with the yachts arriving and leaving regular ferries and trips. The small town is always buzzing with activity, it is expensive compared to other towns like Sami but I preferred the buzz in fiskardo. All the restaurants offer a similar menu, even in a place like this food can be hit and miss. I did love this little place. it's quite magical. There are walking trails, but don't be surprised to start, and halfway through, find a house has been built on the trail. The trails aren't particularly well maintained, and they can be quite challenging with regards to steepness. People are generally friendly and helpful, I would definitely return to Fiscardo.

Lovely place, but a bit out of the way
This is supposed to be the "gem of Kefalonia", but although it's a lovely little harbour town, it's a bit out of the way to be the prized asset. If you want peace and quiet then maybe this is the place for you, but saying that whilst we were there 2x party boats turned up and dispatched a load of very happy people!! It is very picture-perfect sat on the harbour eating lunch.

we anchored there for two nights,
picturesque, traditional, excellent establishments offering food, and crystal clear waters.

Beautiful harbour village where you can admire the super yachts whilst dining in lovely restaurants. Can be a little busy when the ferry's arrive.

Hot, small and overcrowded. Several ferries pulled up and disgorged their passengers in the 2 hours we were there. It takes 10 minutes to walk round the town. We enjoyed a pleasant meal but there wasn’t much else to do

An amazing place to simply soak up the atmosphere and people (and yacht!) watch. We’ve been several times and love it!

Extremely pretty harbour with a plethora of restaurants. Lovely to while away the time over a pint, watching the yachts bobbing around at their moorings.

Quite sophisticated, but with prices to match. Don’t expect package holiday cheap but do expect high quality throughout
