On the plus side beautiful views, gorgeous colours in the water. On the negative side, all the beaches were heaving, totally over crowded and the relaxed vibe of a beautiful Corfu beach has probably been destroyed by the reputation of being number1 most beautiful beach...More

Beautiful beach cove with lots of boats offering trips to coves. Waitress service on the beach was a nice touch as was the bottle of water with the sunbed. Nice walk around the harbour too. Is billed as the prettiest place on Corfu. Can't disagree...More

There’s a choice of two beaches, one sandy, one rocky. The rocky beach is not that easy to negotiate in that the rocks are slippery and it gets deep quite quickly. But it’s worth it for the snorkelling and the fish. We hired a pedalo...More

Lovely water to swim in and scenic but beach was ridiculously overcrowded with nowhere to put our belongings. Also difficult to find parking space. Would be nice out of season without the coach loads of tourists to spoil it!

What a big mistake we made by staying in Paleokastritsa ( Angels Pool ). It would have been fine for a whistle stop or even a couple of days but the place was so boring , the beach was not the best , there are...More

You can choose between sandy or stony beach, but however, the water is freezing. Do not recommend for children and people with sensitive health :(

We were here for two hours and wished we could have explored for longer. Did a boat trip to the caves (worth the ten euros each). A lovely picture postcard place with a smaller beach to the side of the car park. Had a drink...More

After PaleoKastritsa we travelled north. We enjoyed 7th Heaven Restaurant perched high on a hill overlooking the ocean. We also visited the quaint little fishing village of Kassiopi. It is said the Nero holidayed here.

Your best and lowest cost option is to take the Green Bus from Corfu. It takes about an hour and is low cost, clean and runs frequently
