About
Our golf course is located in the heart of Corfu Island in Ropa Valley. You can play the course seven days a week. The beautiful golf course of Corfu has been characterized by many as one of the best hidden secrets in Europe. The Corfu Golf Club course, located only 11km away from Corfu town, was designed by the famous Swiss architect Donald Harradine, who combined the natural beauty of the Ropa Valley with his own interventions in a harmonious way, to create a course pleasant for both advanced and beginner players. Today, it is a magical place with tree groves around the fairways, ponds, streams and a background of the surrounding hills. It is a habitat filled with animals and birds (Common Kingfisher, Ardeidae, Lutra lutra, fish). Golf can be played throughout the year, as the winter is mild. The course is excellent and easy to walk while every hole offers endless variety as well as a challenge. The course is open 7 days a week.

Lovely welcome at the Pro Shop. We hired clubs, I was given, brand new Taylormade Qi10s (very nice).
Course is definitely on the up, greens are good and true. Green keepers are certainly working hard.
It’s a challenging course with plenty of water features 🤣, we thoroughly enjoyed our game.
Club sandwiches in the club house are lovely too!

The course had its heyday if you look at the trophies in the display cases. But that has probably been over for a long time. The course is generally unkempt and in a bad condition. You could describe it more as a round of cross golf with winter greens.

I read so many reviews of this course giving it brilliant reviews. I have no idea why. Tee boxes - not great. Fairway - was there any? Rough - same as the fairway. Greens - poor.
I am so surprised people actually stay in local hotels to come to this course for a 'golf holiday' and truthfully 3* is generous.....

Corfu Golf Club is again what it was used to be ;)!!! One of golf’s best kept secret. Fairway, Greens are fantastic, bunkers are becoming everyday better. How lucky we are to have such a treasure in Corfu island. The green keeper did really an amazing job. Thank you 🙏

Dreadful greens and terrible fairways. It was difficult work out what was a tee box from weeds dirt and tree roots.
Imagine a really poor municipal where no one cares about the course. It’s way worse than that.
We read not so great reviews before going but thought the golf snobs might be being unfair. There not it’s a unmanaged unloved mess. Do not pay the fees. We paid €120 each person with buggy. I shouldn’t have paid more than €20 it’s poor beyond our belief.

What a truly disappointing experience. This is one of the poorest golf courses I have played anywhere in the world. The tees and greens a void of grass, the bunkers are solid sand and the fairways are so poorly mowed / cleared of leaves and debris it is impossible to find your ball. Do not waste your money playing here it really is dreadful. The only positives for me were the set of Taylor Made hire clubs and the beer afterwards. All in this cost me Euro160 including buggy, taxi transfer and clubs. A complete waste of money I’m afraid.

Yeah, nah....first person there for an 8.00am tee slot. Doors open nobody around, was shocked at how poor the condition of the place was. Thought that I had made a big mistake investing $135 euro for a round ar this very sub standard course.
Once I got my head around how bad this course was I just tried to enjoy my game. That was until I came to a flooded green that was unplayable...Corfu has been in drought and a 3 month heatwave but still has flooded greens.
Course is very poor , over priced, poorly kept but.......if you are on holiday and want to have a hit then go your hardest but dont expect too much

Firstly we would like to thank you for taking the time to write your review and to express our apologies for not being able to fulfill your expectations.
Indeed Corfu is on a drought for the last 3 months and due to this drought we are aware that our fairways and tees have been affected. Even though we have a borehole for watering the golf course we are still very careful on water usage.
Regarding the flooded green, it was number 11 that during the morning watering a valve broke and the sprinklers needed to be shut down manually from the pump house that unfortunately is not close to the specific green. During this period of time the green got a lot more water than the others and that s what caused the problem.
We would like to assure you that we take all reviews under consideration and we hope to be abe to welcome you back in the future in order to enjoy a day with us

Couldnt tell the difference between the tees and the rough . Greens were shocking and full of weeds and looked like they hadn’t been cut on rolled in a month . Club house was nice from far but far from nice , full of dust . Just overall unloved, unkept and uncared for . Gutted as golf is a big part of our life and was hoping to relocate ….. was really looking for positives but just couldn’t find one …. Such potential too !! Hopefully

Dear Mr Leigh,
Firstly we would like to thank you for taking the time to write this review. Our club house, which first opened its doors in 1971, is a traditional Corfiot structure with style and colours preserving the picturesque atmosphere of the island and we can assure you that cleaning and hygiene is a matter that we take seriously and we are really thorough with. Regarding your comments on the course may I kindly ask when you played it as the feedback that we are getting from our guests and members is the very encouraging and mostly positive. Besides some catching up that our grounds team is currently doing in some fairways, the general state of the course is acceptable and enjoyable by most of the guests we have the luck of welcoming. We would be happy to welcome you again given the opportunity especially if you are considering relocating and joining our growing community of members.

Thank you for including Corfu Golf Club to your holiday plans. You can play a round of 18 or 9 holes and we can provide you all the necessary equipment such as clubs ( also left handed available), trolleys and buggies. Greenfee for 18 holes is 55 euros and 10 euros the clubs. For the 9 holes game the greenfee is 35 euros and 5 euros the clubs rental

Hi the cost is 55€ per round, you can check the Corfu Golf website Booking, they offer packages as well. The society members meet Tuesday's and Thursday too if you wish to play with others.
Contact Nasia at the golf club by email she is very helpful and speaks perfect English you can contact via the website
