This is a church built in the mid 19th century as a memorial to St Paul. It now is a museum but still functions as a church on Sundays. This quiet, beautiful place is definitely worth a visit.

This church is now used as a museum. It is very old but well preserved. The atmosphere is very special. If you ever go to Tarsus, visit this church. It should be open until 17:30 I guess (not sure about that).

This is an impressive structure, not because of its architecture but the story behind of it. Spare some time to visit this place.

Great place for pictures. Large garden area. Church is still used for Sunday services. Good parking area. Only takes about 30 minutes to see everything and take pictures.

This site is beautiful and well kept. The church is great. Just keep in mind that it is a memorial church to St. Paul; it is not a site he was known to have visited. Still, it is good that Turkey has paid homage to...More

Found this by accident looking for the St. Paul well. Recommend learning the difference between Well & Church in Turkish just encase you need to ask the locals for directions. Had to pay a minor fee, site was very well kept.
