What a lovely spot to discover! Great walks (all on paths!) and very dog friendly. The park is not too large and you're always within sight of water which adds to the sense of being in the country.

There are walks for all here, from steep hills to nice flat areas. Something different to see in all seasons. Maturing nicely from its days as an open cast mine. A word of warning parts can get very muddy in the winter. Worth a visit,...More

No there isn’t but it is a perfect picnic place if you wanted to eat/drink there. Or it’s not far from Ibstock where there are some good chippies, I can recommend vinnys.
