You can go here at any time of the year and have a good walk. The trees and lakes are lovely to look at. There is plenty of parking and toilets near the cars.

First visit but def need to return on a warmer day. Only had time for a quick walk but looked a nice place, clean, and well looked after. Free parking, toilets and a large lake with lots of wildlife. Worth a visit.

Good little walk in all weathers and times of the year. Can be made longer if you take in some of the local footpaths. I walked with a U3A group and enjoyed following it up with a great meal at the Queens Head Heather.

From an old open cast mine to a wonderful water park. Brilliant place to unwind and enjoy nature without having to travel for miles.

If you have nice weather, this is a beautiful walk with some lovely, secluded lakes and paths. A shame that a few irresponsible dog owners allow their animals to foul the paths, but don't let this put you off. I guess that's life... Car parking...More

No there isn’t but it is a perfect picnic place if you wanted to eat/drink there. Or it’s not far from Ibstock where there are some good chippies, I can recommend vinnys.
