There are not much to do right here, but the 360 amounts ideas are incredible and really worth the journey up there! Went generally there for sunset, very quiet, very nice, very peaceful. The cannon displays were additionally cooler, great history, and preserved rather well.

Cannon Fort sits atop the highest hill in Cat Ba town, giving it a comanding view of the surroundings. The historical exhibits are charmig in their simplicity. Worth it for the views alone.

OMG precisely what a sight! You certainly must come here. We rode a motorcycle up the mountain and I'd certainly suggest doing exactly the same. Riding a bike or even walking would be very tiring, it is extremely high.

When you take a trip up to the canon fort, you can walk it, but I would advice hiring a scooter (80,000d ~ roughly £2.50). It is up hill the whole way, and probably around a 30/40 minute walk. The trip up there is nice,...More

There's a cafeteria on the roof of the hill (or maybe mountain), some cannon along with a tiny event close by that you can stroll about in fifteen minutes before enrolling in a seat with beverage. Also a telescope is going to give you a...More

Took a while to work out that the sign to the toilet actually lead to a maze of tunnels - we obviously entered the wrong way. Well worth a visit.

They were amazing. We had a private tour for our family of 7 people. The crew provided a light fruit platter & water. The boat was clean and had that lovely junk boat quality. The ferry from the main land was serviceable... More

Would recommend in daylight hours. Country roads are narrow and winding and no street lights.
