Well, well worth the hike, absolutely incredible perspectives sunrise to sunset. Great historical information and scenery to accompany it. You get a container of water with the ticket of yours and there's a bit of espresso place at the top.

There are views that are great down Cat Ba city and nearby islands. There seemed to be a cave further up there, but it was actually closed. Can be placed that is nice to get a coffee and rest for some time.

It is a nice walk up to the fort from the town amd will make you sweat. Try to get there around 4h30 p.m so you have a little time to walk around before the sunset!

Historical site was nice to wander around and see the views from the top of the hill. See the big guns the tunnels.

Would recommend in daylight hours. Country roads are narrow and winding and no street lights.
