A 15 minute drive from Skala (where we were staying). A small fishing village with a lovely beach, a few shops and restaurants, which are best known for their fish dishes. The beach is even more stunning when viewed from an elevated level.

We were staying in Katelios so this was basically the local beach. Not perfect and could probably do with a major makeover, sand etc. Nice for a stroll with plenty of tavernas and restaurants for refreshments.

Very basic, very small, how this qualified for a Blue Star I will never understand, not any amenities there unless you trek into the local town.

been here twice, a long beach, shallow water so nice for swimming, a variety of tavernas and cafe's along the beach, sunbeds available, the only thing i noticed is that the water is less clear than in other beaches.

This is a beautiful bay and not at all crowded (even in August). It's fairly pebbly and there's not much sand, but the beach shelves gently into the sea and it's sandy underfoot once you're in the sea. We had lunch at the beach bar...More

Most days we swam in the sea.It was necessary to walk for 5 minutes or so as the sea was shallow. It is the only way to cool down here. There were plenty of sunbeds for hire or they were free if you were a...More

This beach has both sand and pebbles. There are about ten beachside tavernas offering sun beds free of charge to customers. The beach and surrounding area attracts quite a few pensioners and those with very young children probably due to the fact you can paddle...More

Sorry but this to me is not a great beach. If you want to paddle in shallow water in front of lots of tavernas and sun umbrellas then ok. Or if you have very small children. Much of it is very stoney and hard to...More

The lovely Katelios beach is just that - amazing views out to the Aegean sea that are unspoiled by tourism. A lot quieter than the larger resorts like Skala, Katelios beach will let your mind drift off to unknown pleasures.

Our hotel was only 50 metres away but we tended to drive over to Mounda beach, this one was quite busy but not overcrowded,, some tavernas offer free sunbeds, none on the southern end.

It is worth doing the trip to Drogarati cave and Melissani lake. Fiskardo in the north is beautiful as is Myrtos beach. If it is the same as last year there is a little place on the way to the beach in Katelios where they... More

Hi,there is a limited bus service, and taxis come from Skala, which you can order at most beachfront tavernas or kiosk or if you have reception where you’re staying, but why would you want to leave charming Katelios.
