Located directly in the town centre with immediate access to a FREE multi storey carpark, bars, restaurants and cinema, what more do you need?

Beautiful lawns tennis courts even a fountain feature and a market hall and odeon nearby however I never felt safe walking alone in the park

I think its got it all. Bowls for the old. Tennis for the middle ages and crazy golf and a park for the kids. The only downside ever to this place is people drinking alcohol there. With it being so close to the police station...More

Thankfully the lighting has been improved. Very dark at night. I have teenages who need independence but hate them walking through this park at night. It is getting better. If we could only stop the the drunks and druggies using the park.

What a great cafe for a great park...this little kiosk is amazingly well stocked and everyone seemed happy and pleased to serve. Excellent prices and quality...a great coffee and ice cream was had we visited 3 times on our 1 visit!

Avoid the park unless there are organised events or when there are plenty of people around. Don't go alone and in the evening.
