Visited the Ugly Duckling with my wife during a weekend away in Clarens. Interesting little shop with a variety of mementos and trinkets. Worth having a relaxed browse around.

The Ugly Duckling is kind of overwhelming with a billion trinkets, not my cup of tea exactly but I cannot fault them and there were many ladies oeing and ahing so I presume it's all good. To me, it feels like being inside China Mall or Oriental Plaza in Jozi. To each man or woman there own :-)…

This store stocks a large selection of knobs, leather goods and crafted items. The children in our party loved it! Ideal for something different. And knobs of course!
