Making really great whisky in England is paramount to what we stand for here at St. George’s. St.George's Distillery, home to the English Whisky Co. became operational in November 2006 producing its first spirit soon after. We now have some very fine single malt whisky for sale. The Distillery is open daily throughout the year (with the exception of Christmas day, Boxing day, New Year's day), running regular tours of the working part of the distillery. We have a coffee shop and gift shop.

When we arrived on a wet snowy day and found many visitors taking lunch, we realised it's a place to go to for food. We did not have time for a visit to the Distillery but we did enjoyed the reasonably priced food and drinks.

Hi, i am not sure as we travel by car. There is a station within a couple 100 mtr, but best is to call the distilery and ask them. What ever you decide, you will have a great time. Lovely place and great whisky
