Beautiful walk from Ermitage Saint Germain to the Cascade d’Angon. Weather was so nice, you could hear the birds singing. The walk wasn’t tricky but needs some fitness to reach the top. Also, make sure you’re fit enough to go all the way until the...More

A great opportunity to get up close and behind a waterfall. We walked from Menthon-Saint-Bernard and took the route to the waterfall from Talloires via Route du Vivier. It’s quite a steep walk and is very slippery close to the waterfalls. Advisable to hold onto...More

It is not an easy stroll, but not difficult at all. A waterfall is a must if u r in the area! Go early morning to avoid crowd and heat.

Worth the effort but not suitable if you are not fairly fit and able to climb a little bit. V slippy at the edge leading to the waterfall itself,

If in the Annecy area you might take 20 min to visit this place. Follow Chemin de la Closette untill the end, park your car over there and then you have 20 min of a great walk. The walk is secured but slipery.

Walked from Angon, and did the loop trail. A challenging walk, varied with beautiful views, the cascades and waterfall, the river, picnic area and gorgeous woods. Not too hard. Took us 3 hours to do the loop with breaks and pauses. Good for families too...More

Access is from a small car park on the Chemin de Verel, off the D42 from Talloires to Montmin. The signposting isn't great and once you reach the car park it's not 100% obvious which path to follow. Once you're on the path though signage...More

Above Angon, on randonees map, is a beautiful waterfall. Steep climb initially, close to back of hotel Les grillons and children need to be observed closely when walking near the waterfall. Can walk up and over the streams above the waterfall. Spectacular views over lake...More
