Lovely walks and scenery throughout. Unfortunately gardens were closed. Lots of road works on the way. Bring your own lunch as cafe very expensive.

Start your day early and you will have a delightful drive through rolling country to Canungra. The drive up the hill is glorious and the view... just special. As you approach the top you drive through trees that make a tunnel for the road, opening...More

Lamington National Park sits between the access roads to Binna Burra or O'Reilly's offering seemly endless hiking options, but equally great sunday drives and teahouses at either end. Binna Burra is far more accessible, a shorter drive off the Beechmont Rd whereas O'Reilly's is about...More

From the O'Reileys carpark - where there are lots of different birds to see (and even the occasional snake!), follow the boardwalk to the by donation tree top walk - the first in the world installed in the 1970's. Then check out the "Mountain Garden"...More

We came with the kids and it really was magic. The rainforest circuit was a small but sufficient walk for the kids. We even saw small wallabies. The place is gorgeous and so well looked after.

I would look into hiring a minibus. Alpaca farm is a must for the tea terrace view and unique gifts. The walk to Python rock is a great reasonable trek and offers flora, fauna, incredible views and waterfalls. Enjoy x
