After seeing so many large/grand cathedrals around England and Ireland, it was nice seeing a humble, quaint church. I only got to see it from the outside and I wish it was open when I went. There's supposed to be a stained-glass window with Narnia...More

This is a nice church in headington quarry. There is a small amount of parking outside. Has an ally to get to it if walking.

There was a wonderful elderly fellow named Roy who showed us around. He was knowledgeable, and just a lovely person. Absolutely delightful.

Our group came to see the church CS Lewis attended, and his grave there in the cemetery. The church is nice, although for England, not very old. It's very nice humble and beautiful building. My favorite area though was the graveyard/cemetery. So many gravestones that...More

This visit was very revealing. When we were ushered to the pew where C. S. Lewis and his brother, Warnie, sat, we were amazed. First, you could not see the pulpit. Second, to your left was a window that had "The Tales of Narnia" embossed...More

One of my life dreams has been to not only see C.S. Lewis' house but his church as well. (Make sure that you contact the church before you go to make sure they are open.) It was such a meaningful experience for me to be...More
