It was my first time climbing a mountain over 1500m, so I was kinda stressed and didn't know what to expect but it really went smoothly 😎 And the guides were great, they had everything prepared, were really friendly and always checking on us. The view are exceptional, especially at the summit (just be sure to have an extra layer once you get there it's pretty cold). Thank you Jaya and the crew for this experience, I only want to get higher now!!!

We absolutely loved this tour with Jaya and Agal! Always really friendly and caring, and they speak English well. We went on a walking tour through the rice fields, the monkey forest (where we saw maaaany black and grey monkeys), the waterfall, and back through the small villages in Tetebatu. We went into a school and had coffee at Jaya’s friends’ house, everyone was happy to have us! It was an incredible experience, seeing more of real rural Indonesia. We had lunch in Jaya’s restaurant where his wife cooked amazing food, where we played with the kittens and met Jaya’s cutest daughter Lopia. In the afternoon he took us in his jeep to see a local craft shop and how tofu is cooked. We had an amazing day and I would 100% recommend booking the tour with Jaya :)

I booked a private camping excursion to Gili Kondo for January, 2024, yet was forced to cancel my trip to Indonesia in October of 2023. I messaged them regarding a refund in October 2023 and the representative said they would refund the money as soon as they were paid back by the person they rented the boat from. I waited. I then messaged them in December of 2023 to inquire about my refund. They then said they had to wait for their PayPal balance at the end of the year and would pay be back around the beginning of 2024. It’s now nearly mid January and I haven’t obtained my refund. They are a tour operator with funds readily available and there shouldn’t be any issue issuing a refund within a reasonable timeframe without having to make excuse after excuse. Scammers.

Super nice hike, with really nice people! The provided Food was really good and the guide Iwan was amazing! Can highly recommend the Tour, especially since it is not so touristic as climbing the rinjani from the north side.

I booked through Adi Trekker who was very responsive. The tour was conducted by Iwant (an experienced young guide from Sasak tribe) under Jaya Trekkers.

Iwant brought us walk through the traditional Tetebatu Village from 10.30am to 5.30pm, a place inhibited by the Sasak people who grow rice padi, chillis, maize, bananas and even some durians. The ladies could even carry rocks over their heads and walk.

We trekked into a small waterfall area and took a dip. We stopped by for local unfiltered coffee and a nice home cooked lunch in a hut.

Through Ulem Ulem National Park, where Iwant spotted black monkeys for us, we trekked up to the camping site which overlooks Rinjani and the sunrise! Iwant made the most delicious fried rice with fried chicken, tempeh, tau hu beancurd, etc. Being served a colourful fruit platter up 1,000 metres in altitude was a surprise.

In the tent, we cleaned up with wet tissues and enjoyed a short bonfire after makan dinner.

During descent, we took a different route in the jungle to reach Jerukmanis Waterfall and walked 30 minutes out to modernity where our 7-seater sedan is waiting to bring us back to Kuta.

Our porter, Rafman, was amazing to use Scooby to bring up our tents, foldable chairs, and cooking equipment and food. He could even navigate the slopes in the dark. Impressive!

2 days/1 night trip from Tetebatu to Mountain Sangkareang]

Transport included: Pick-up at Kuta Lombok and drop-off at Bangsal. Right on time. Very flexible.

1 night at the hotel before the trip: basic 1-star hotel.

Hiking: Amazing experience! Physically demanding.

Food: Very good meals, well cooked. More than enough.

Equipment: almost new (tent, thin mattress, sleeping bag, small pillow).

Staff (guide: Aji): Amazing! Very kind, smiling, helpful, always taking care of their guests.

I’ll never forget our trip with Jaya trekking. Some of it was a bit more rough and ready than I’m used to (recommend choosing your own accommodation the night before trek and you need to reconcile yourself to the fact that there is rubbish on the mountain in places), but the overall experience was incredible.
Our guides were amazing: knowledgable, attentive and v entertaining! (Bon jovi is a good memory).
The food was outstanding and our coeliac daughter was catered for beautifully on the side of a mountain! We ate like royalty.
Views at sunset and sunrise were incredible and although I was sore for about a week afterwards it was worth it.
Thanks so much to all who looked after us.

We did the second summit trekking from Timbanuh (2D1N). We were alone on the track during 2 days. The first part until the pos4 is pretty long but no too steep. The second summit of Rinjani (~3500m) is not accessible anymore since 2018 because of the earthquake so you will stop around ~3200m something like this.
Mostly until the pos3 you are in the jungle so you are protected of the sun but the view is not really nice. You have to reach the basecamp to appreciate and enjoy the view. The view is really nice at the top and it’s so relaxing to feel alone on the massive mountains. The guide Aji was really good and essential to find our way and the 2 porters, Sam and Doul was really kind and brave. All of them took care of us and we missed nothing. We had break when needed, they cooked us good food with good service (like if we were in a restaurant on the mountain), enough snacks and water for all the trip. We keep good memories of this trekking. We recommend this trekking for people who don’t want to use the same way as all the other tourist and want a track clean, with not much plastic and rubbish on the ground. In bonus, we spotted some black monkeys at the end of the trekking.
Thank again to all the team for these beautiful moments.

We did an campingtrip from Tetebatu to the Pergasingan Hill. The hike up the mountain took 1,5 / 2 hours. Iwant was our tourguide and Inggit was the driver, they were both really friendly :) They carried the tents and all the food up to the top of the hill. When we arrived at the top they set up the tents for us and we could enjoy the beautiful views. During the evening you can enjoy the sunset behind the Rinjani, the campfire and the beautiful sky filled with stars. The food was really good! In the morning at 05.30 we went for a 20 minute hike to watch the sunrise on the other side. I would really recommend this trip! We where almost the only ones on the hill (but apparently the weekends are busy) and the views where amazing.

The views were absolutely stunning! The hike until the top was challenging but well worth it! We had an amazing guide and a very fun hiking group in general! Everyone was very kind and we had so much fun together. The food was also more than delicious! I highly recommend this activity, it was one of the most fun and memorable things we did during our stay in Indonesia.
