SEASONAL OPERATION The Song and the Sorrow plus two other short videos were screened on October 19, 2018. Super talent, part of the PEI Film Festival. Brrrrr, it was very uncomfortable in the venue as the beautiful church isn't heated. And we experienced the opposite...More

Thanks for your comments Trudy. We are working on a plan to make temps in the church match the incredible performances ! As we are currently repairing a window this year at a cost of $20,000, the expense of year round heating / cooling is...More

The church is amazing both inside and out. We couldn't help but stop when we came across this rural gem. You can see it a long way off and the design and intricate work that had been put into this church is stunning. We are...More

I went to show last night at the Indian River Festival. It was fabulous from start to end. I truly enjoyed myself. I was only suprised the the church barely had anyone there for such an amazing show. Wonderful experience.

This is a must see location with a blend of tradition and modern world with the summer concert series. We were so happy to return after many years to both well maintained architectural gem and excellent quality program for the Indian River Festival. Go-Enjoy!

Was lucky to be invited to a concert by Black Umfolosi, a Acapella singing and dancing group. Historic St. Mary's Church in Indian River, PEI was the setting for this wonderful concert. I strongly encourage you to take advantage of other concerts at this venue...More

This is a beautiful, well-maintained space with amazing acoustics. The festival series presents artists representing a variety of musical styles, including some appropriate for families with children. A nice change of pace from the commercialized attractions in Cavendish. The nicest washrooms we encountered in PEI!
